11 months

I started Mom's Day Out at Christ United Methodist Church this past Monday.  So far, I really like
it!  I started to get fussy on Wednesday, but it turns out that I have a double ear infection...again!  I knew my ears were bothering me.  I'm on meds now, and I'm starting to feel better.  The daycare workers absolutely LOVE me and all "his expressions".  They told my gam'ma that I'm their favorite.  :)  I'm sure they say that to all the mom's and grandma's.  I know my momma hates that I have to go, but it'll be good for me.  I can learn to share, and make new friends.  Plus, it's a Christian daycare so I'll learn more about Jesus.

I just turned 11 months old on Thursday, which means I only have a month left till I'm ONE!!!!  I can't wait to have my party and eat cake...for the second time.  :)  Mommy and Daddy let me have a fake birthday with my cousin, Kate.  She is exactly one month older than me and they just knew the pictures would be precious!  They were right!  Kate and I are really cute!

9 month checkup

I had my 9 month checkup on Tuesday. I weigh 22 lb 1 oz (I've gained exactly 2 pounds in 2 months), and I'm 30.25 inches tall. My weight puts me in the 75% and my height is still at the top of the chart. I hope it stays like that because I want to be tall! This time there was nothing wrong with my ears, and the doctor lady said I was developing just as I should. I even had my vision and blood checked and everything came back perfect! All is good in the world.

A Bit of News

My other front bottom tooth came in (not long after the first - just like Mommy thought), but that's it for now. I finally started crawling on June 20th! I'm getting faster and faster each day. Mommy and Daddy are trying to teach me to crawl to them, but I get nervous and whine a little. One day I'll get it and then they won't be able to stop me. :) Mommy had to get on to me several times this morning because I kept trying to grab the computer modem and wires. She kept telling me "No!" but I wasn't listening so she had to pop my hand. It didn't really hurt (I think it hurt her A LOT more than me). She really wants me to learn quickly to stay away from some things so she won't have to "punish" me.
On Father's Day weekend, Mommy and Daddy went to Pensacola for a tubing trip with my "uncle" Chad and his family. They had to leave me with my "aunt" Amy because I was so young. Momma DID NOT like leaving me. She had to leave Amy's house really fast because she was about to cry. I wanted to tell her that I'd be fine cause I really like Amy and Maddie. I had a lot of fun while I was there. I played and Amy and Maddie took REALLY good care of me! I think that will be my favorite place to go when I get a little older. Amy will spoil me BIG TIME! I don't think Mommy had as much fun on her trip. I think they got started later than she wanted and I heard something about them getting stranded at the end and had to catch a ride with complete strangers JUST to get back to me. I think Mommy would move a mountain to get to me. :) I'm a very lucky boy!

It happened

After all the drooling and pain, I finally got my first tooth! My bottom right front tooth popped up a couple of weeks ago. I stopped drooling for a few days, but now I'm at it again - full force. My mommy said it looks like my other bottom front tooth is going to come in. I guess we'll find out in a few days.
My other news is that I'm getting closer and closer to crawling. I can easily get up on my hands and knees, but all I do is rock. I get tired after a few seconds (most likely because I'm such a big boy) and so I lay down again. I love to play with Mommy and Daddy, but my favorite thing to do is play in my exersaucer. I go CRAZY in that thing!

6 month checkup (but I was really 7 months)

I just had what was supposed to be my 6 month checkup, but because my mommy and daddy need specific days and times, it got pushed back. I didn't mind waiting because I knew they were going to give me more shots. :(
The doctor told Mommy and Daddy that I weigh 20lb 1oz, and I'm 29.25 inches long! Then she told them that I had ear infections in both my ears! I knew something wasn't quite right, but I'm so tough that I didn't let Mommy know I wasn't feeling good. She told me that I should let her know next time so I can get medicine. I like the medicine so maybe I will go ahead and tell her.
Other than all that, I'm doing great. I make Mommy and Daddy laugh all the time, and I'm getting closer to crawling. I still drool like crazy - in fact, sometimes I don't even try to swallow. Hehehehe. I don't have any teeth yet, but I hope they come through soon!

Easter

I had a great time with my cousins at Easter! I loved playing with Kate and seeing Jackson and Cayden run around. I can't wait till I can run with them!

I have a cold

Mommy took me to the doctor yesterday because I coughed ALL night Thursday night. I guess it kinda scared her, so she thought better safe than sorry. The doctor lady told mom it was just a cold and not to worry unless it didn't break up within the next few days. I'm already sounding juicier when I cough, and I didn't cough at all last night, so I must be getting better. :) The nurse weighed me and I am 19lb 14oz. I don't know how long I am, but I'll find out in a couple of weeks when I go back for those shots!

I'm 6 Month's Old!!

Yesterday was my half birthday! I spent the day with my gam'ma since my mommy had to work. When I got there, all the crazy card ladies were there. They fussed and fussed over me, and then my gam'pa came to save me. That was pretty much the extent of my day. My gam'ma did give my mommy a check for $100 to put towards my college fund. She said it was my half birthday present. :)

We also just had my 6 month / Easter pics made the other night. It was a lot of fun hearing Mommy and Daddy make all those funny noises at me. I decided to cooperate since they were being so goofy. I heard Mommy tell Daddy how proud she was of me and I know she was so happy with how the pics turned out. I'm glad I made her happy.

4 month check-up

I went back to the doctor today. The doctor said I am a perfect baby - ain't she sweet?! I weigh 17lb 3oz and I'm 27.5 inches long. That puts me in the 95th% for height and the 80th% for weight. Doc also said that I can start eating fruits and veggies with my cereal. I'm so excited. Daddy is at the store right now picking something out for me.

Oh yeah, I already knew this, but the doc also said that my daddy is a good playful daddy. She told him to make me laugh and Daddy was happy to oblige. :)

Mommy's Been Bad

It's been a long, long time since Mom has posted anything. I guess with work and taking care of me, she's just been too busy...whatever. I tried to tell her that Aunt Mandi has time to update Jackson and Kate's, but she won't listen. :)
Anyway, I think a lot has happened since she last posted something in November! I had a really great Christmas - you can look at the pics and although it might not look like I'm happy, I really am. A few weeks after Christmas, my team (Auburn) won the BCS National Championship. I think it's because of me that they won. I was born on a football Saturday, during an Auburn game, and they won every game this season. I was their good luck charm - even if they didn't know it. I had my first cold (that wasn't fun), I've started eating cereal twice a day, and I've rolled from my stomach to my back. YAY me!!!!! I love my exersaucer now, and find it absolutely hilarious when Mom and Dad wave their hands over my head or try to "get me" by making noises on my neck.
Tomorrow we are going to Pensacola so I can meet my daddy's best friend for the first time. He's been overseas shooting bad guys. He is one of Dad's closest friends so I think I'll call him Uncle Chad. I know Dad is very excited for me to meet him.
